The Math (Realistic Redemption)
Evaluating the maximum redeemable value per tier against the 20% annual cap constraint.
| Tier | Annual Fee | 20% Cap | Points Needed | Point Value |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $5,000 | $1,000 | 100,000 | $0.01 |
| Silver | $15,000 | $3,000 | 150,000 | $0.02 |
| Gold | $50,000 | $10,000 | 200,000 | $0.05 |
| Platinum | $150,000 | $30,000 | 300,000 | $0.10 |
Example (Bronze): 10,000 points × $0.01 = $100 potential value, capped at 20% of $5,000 = $1,000 maximum redemption per year.
Example (Silver): 50,000 points × $0.02 = $1,000 potential value, capped at 20% of $15,000 = $3,000 maximum redemption per year.
Example (Gold): 250,000 points × $0.05 = $12,500 potential value, capped at 20% of $50,000 = $10,000 maximum redemption per year.
Example (Platinum): 1,000,000 points × $0.10 = $100,000 potential value, capped at 20% of $150,000 = $30,000 maximum redemption per year.
